Leadership at Walsall primary school rated 'Outstanding' by Catholic Schools Inspectorate
A Walsall primary school has received an 'outstanding' rating from the Catholic Schools Inspectorate (CSI).
St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School in Brownhills has been praised for its strong and highly effective leadership following its recent inspection.
The inspection, carried out in January 2026, highlighted leadership as a key strength, noting that leaders “provide clear challenge and hold staff to account, driving rapid and sustained improvement,” supported by an ambitious vision shared by staff, governors and the wider school community.
Inspectors judged the school’s Catholic life and mission as Outstanding, describing St Bernadette’s as a welcoming, family-centred community where every individual is known, valued and cared for.
