18 fantastic photos of students and teachers enjoying their brand new Wolverhampton school
It has been the start of a new era for a Wolverhampton academy after students and staff moved into their brand new and modern school building.
St Peter's Collegiate Academy in Compton Park in Wolverhampton has completed a long-term redevelopment programme, which saw four out of seven outdated buildings on the site replaced by a a new U-shaped three storey building.
The academy, which is part of the Three Spires Trust, has also seen an increase in car parking spaces from 87 to 112, with an electric vehicle (EV) charging point being added to serve two spaces, new pedestrian footpaths, vehicle routes, fixed seating, outdoor dining areas and covered cycle stands.
Students and staff were able to move in and begin using the fully-completed building at the end of January, helping students and teachers to continue to build a strong bond through mutual respect and their love for education.
We've provided 18 photos of the academy which show the new building and the modern facilities available for staff and students:
