Water network problems causes discoloured water and poor pressure in Stourbridge
Engineers work to solve water supply issues in Stourbridge.
Stourbridge locals have reported problems with water supply leading to “poor pressure” and “discoloured water”.
Severn Trent engineers are working in the DY9 postcode area to resolve the issue.
Crews are carrying out investigations into their water network on Birmingham Road following reports of low pressure in the area.
Severn Trent started investigating the water pipe problem early this morning after reports of low pressure in the area.
The problem has still persisted into this afternoon, and Severn Trent has said that they’ll keep residents informed by issuing updates on the Severn Trent website.
In the meantime, Severn Trent has sent their “apologies for any inconvenience caused” while engineers work to solve the issue.
A spokesperson for Severn Trent told the Express & Star: "Our teams are carrying out investigations to our water network on Birmingham Road following reports of lower pressure in the area.
“We're sorry for any disruption this may cause."
