Developer reveals plans to build 1200 homes on Walsall green belt site
The land has been allocated by Reform for housing.
A housing developer has revealed plans to build over a thousand homes across 70 hectares of green belt in Walsall.
Up to 1200 homes, a primary school, community centre and public open space could be coming to Home Farm at Sandhills.
The plans by Catesby Estates were revealed in an Environmental Impact Assessment submitted to Walsall Council.

The assessment will eventually support an outline planning application for the development.
The site, on the Walsall Lichfield border just outside Walsall Wood, is currently home to five agricultural fields, a wooded area and a farmhouse.
The land has been allocated by Reform for housing in the latest draft of the Walsall Local Borough Plan.
The site, owned by a single landowner, is the largest housing allocation within the whole document.
If approved, the new housing estate will be accessed from Chester Road and Lichfield Road.
