Popular Dudley pub to temporarily close its doors - here's why

Popular Dudley pub The Castle View is set for a major makeover, with a six-figure refurbishment planned this autumn.

The Hungry Horse venue at Castlegate Business Park will temporarily close from Monday, September 14 while work takes place, before reopening to customers next month.

The refurbishment will include upgraded furnishings, a fresh colour scheme, revamped toilets and a new self-serve coffee machine offering unlimited free refills. The pub’s outdoor area will also be improved with new garden furniture and additional seating for alfresco dining and drinks.

The Castle View is also recruiting for a range of front-of-house and back-of-house roles ahead of its reopening.
