The restaurant, which was previously a Brewers Fayre, has received a significant investment of more than £1 million to convert it from the former Guild pub into a new Toby Carvery.

General manager Richard Davis said: "We’re so excited to show off the new Toby to the local community. At Toby, we’ve spent 40 years mastering the Great British roast and we can’t wait to bring that quality and flavour to Bromsgrove.

"Coming to a new area meant that engaging with the community was really important to us. That's why we've launched the Toby Chef Hat Hunt, to get out and speak to local businesses and groups, and most importantly, welcome the public into the Home of the Roast."

The site’s opening will create around 35 new jobs for local people.
