Drivers warned of four road closures across Wolverhampton as improvement works take place
Drivers have been advised around road closures due to improvement works taking place.
Motorists in Wolverhampton have been advised to avoid certain roads across the city as improvement works take place.
Wolverhampton Council said that four sets of works would be taking place across Tuesday to keep the roads in good condition, with short closures spread across the day.
In Bilston, Robert Wynd will be closed until 5pm in both directions, while Peacock Avenue in Ashmore will remain closed until 2.30pm.
In Blakenhall, Wolverhampton Road East will be closed from Goldthorn Hill and Parkfield Road to the city boundary, while Underhill Lane from Bushbury Lane to Wildtree Avenue in Bushbury will close at a separate time in the day.

The council said that roads will reopen straight after work is finished, there will be loose stones for a short time and road sweepers will be around to clear excess material.
There will also be a sealing treatment in September to make the surface watertight and road relining at night.
A spokesman for Wolverhampton Council said: “We're carrying out more road improvements to keep them in good condition and prevent potholes.
“To allow for surface dressing, there will be short closures, one at a time, on parts of Peacock Avenue, Wolverhampton Road East, Robert Wynd and Underhill Lane.”
