Three people injured in disorder on Bearwood High Street - police launch investigation
Police have launched an investigation following a disorder in Bearwood last night (Wednesday) in which three people were injured.
West Midlands Police has launched an investigation after three people were left with injuries following a disorder on Bearwood High Street, in Smethwick, just before 6pm on Wednesday.
The incident led to a large cordon being placed on the road, near its junction with Reginald Road.

The force said that two men were initially presented at the hospital following the incident, while a third was later taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of assault, with West Midlands Police now launching an investigation to establish the circumstances around what happened.

A force spokesperson said: "We are investigating following reports of disorder in Bearwood shortly before 6pm this evening (11 Feb).
"Two men were later presented at the hospital, while a third was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and their injuries are currently being assessed.
"Our investigation is at an early stage, and a cordon remains in place on Bearwood Road as officers carry out a range of enquiries to establish the exact circumstances around what happened.
"Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault."
The force said that they believe the violence to be 'an isolated incident', asking anyone with information to contact them directly via their 101 number.
The spokesperson added: "At this stage, we believe this to be an isolated incident, and local officers will remain in the area this evening.
