West Midlands Police continue crackdown on vehicle crime with flurry of arrests across Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell and Dudley
West Midlands Police have continued their fight to tackle vehicle theft in the region with a number of arrests and charges.
Simon Plant, aged 55 from Walsall has been charged with burglary. He was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates court on Thursday, November 20.
This comes after an address was broken into on Westbury Avenue, Wednesbury in the early hours of Wednesday, November 19 morning.
Terrence Scarrett, aged 31 from Wednesbury has been charged with six counts of theft of motor vehicle, four counts of theft from a motor vehicle and two counts of attempted theft of a motor vehicle. He was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday, November 20.
The charges are in a relation to several vehicles and tools that have been stolen from addresses in Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall and Sandwell.
A 28-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of three burglaries in Oldbury, Rowley Regs and West Bromwich. He remains in custody for questioning.
