Three men charged with attempted murder after woman shot in Dudley

Three men have been charged with attempted murder after a woman was shot at an address in Dudley earlier this month.

It follows gunshots at an address in Priory Road, Dudley on July 3.

A woman was hit by one of the shots and was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but has since been discharged.

Kile Straker, aged 35 and from Wolverhampton; Ethan Colbourne, aged 22 and from Tipton; and Kieron Atkins, aged 26 and from West Bromwich have been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and theft of a motor vehicle.

They were remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Friday, July 18).

The defendants are next due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court for a further hearing on August 15.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We would like to thank the public for coming forward with information about the incident and encourage anyone who hasn’t yet got in touch to do so.
