Black Country pub could be set to reopen as plans lodged by brewery
A planning application has been lodged for the Jolly Collier in Short Heath.
A pub in Willenhall could be set to reopen after a planning application was lodged for advertising signs and lights on the outside of the building.
The plans have been submitted by Star Pubs and Bars for the Jolly Collier in Lucknow Road, Short Heath.

The application has been submitted to Walsall Council and a decision has yet to be made.
Short Heath Community Champions, run by former Conservative councillors for Short Heath, recently welcomed the application on its Facebook page.
A post said: “There seems to be positive developments at the Jolly Collier as the brewery have submitted a planning application for advertising signs and lights on the outside of the building and we have to say it looks very stylish!
“Work is urgently needed to the fencing on site and to bring the building back up to standard but we’re so pleased to see movement in the right direction to reopen The Jolly Collier as a pub for our community.”
