Watch: Armed drug dealer found hiding in bush in Halesowen
Police found a loaded handgun, more than 330g of ketamine and cocaine, as well as cash and scales.
West Midlands Police found an armed drug dealer hiding in a bush in Halesowen.
Police chased and caught the armed drug dealer after responding to a report of a burglary at a property in Dudley.
Officers were called to a property on Vicarage Road in Halesowen on August 29, following reports that the building was being broken into.
Khan, aged 27, of New John Street, Halesowen fled from the scene as officers arrived but was found nearby hiding in a bush.

Police found a loaded handgun, more than 330g of ketamine and cocaine, as well as cash and scales.

They also found text messages showing that Khan was supplying cocaine and cannabis to others, and his search history showed he had been researching firearms of the type recovered from the property.
He was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition, and being concerned in the supply of cocaine, cannabis and ketamine. On Friday (30 Oct), he was jailed for 12 years at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Deputy Sargent Ryan Matthews, said: “This turned out not to be a burglary at all, but Khan was going into this building, which was used as a bit of a hideout and a base of operations for his criminal operation.
“The fact that we recovered a loaded firearm and a significant quantity of drugs, together with the images and text messages on his phone, shows that he was heavily involved in drug dealing, and the lengthy sentence passed by the courts reflects that.”
