43,000 Lego bricks used to make famous Black Country singer at Birmingham Bullring - can you guess who it is?

The voice of Christmas is ready to welcome shoppers to a Birmingham superstore after being created in Lego.

A full lego recreation of a Black Country-born singer and co-writer of a legendary Christmas hit has been set up for shoppers at the Bullring to enjoy throughout the festive season.

The Lego version of Noddy Holder, which has been set up on the menswear floor of Selfridges in the Bullring in Birmingham has been created using 43,000 Lego bricks.

It represents all the familiar features of the Walsall-born singer, from his big mirrored hat to his target waistcoat and trousers, his mutton chop hairstyle and a large acoustic guitar.

The Bullring posted on social media that the Lego statue was now up and set up in Selfridges and has invited the public to come in to get selfies with the statue, as well as encouraging people to shop for Lego products while in the store.

A spokesman for Bullring & Grand Central Birmingham said: "Lego Noddy Holder has returned, and he’s ready to rock your Christmas shopping trip.

"With 43,000 bricks of glam-rock glory, he’s stealing the show on the menswear floor in Selfridges, Bullring.

"Why not pop in for a Christmas selfie and shop some amazing Lego kits while you’re here."
