Watch: Miss England finalists gather in Wolverhampton as a West Midlands model makes the final in a glittering ceremony
The Semi-Final of Miss England 2025 returned in spectacular style at The Grand Station, Wolverhampton last night (Friday) with glamour, beauty and intelligence in abundance.
A packed audience saw 40 contestants from across the country compete for a place in the national final, taking part in a series challenges leading up to the event.
One of them was a sustainability brief from Wedoethical.org where the contestants had to make their own outfits or source them from charity shops.
The winner of this award was Mary Ann Jennings, an emergency responder from Grimsby, who wowed the judges with her remarkable outfit made entirely from potato sacks.
Among the standout contestants was 24-year-old Birmingham model Evanjelin Elchamanar, who impressed judges by securing First Runner-Up in the Sports Round and proudly earned the title of Miss Birmingham 2025.
She will return to The Grand Station in November where finalists will compete for the prestigious title of Miss England 2025 with the winner going on to represent England at the 73rd Miss World competition, scheduled to be held in Spring 2026.
Originally built in 1854 as Wolverhampton Low Level Railway Station, the Grade II-listed venue has been transformed into a premier events destination, blending historic character with modern elegance. Hundreds of people attended the glittering ceremony. It first hosted the event successfully last year.

The event was also broadcast live on The Beauty Queen Channel, available on Amazon Fire, allowing pageant fans from across the country to tune in and enjoy the show from home.
Miss England Director Angie Beasley said: “It was great to be back at The Grand Station Wolverhampton for the second year.
"It’s such a convenient location right next to the train station, with plenty of parking and a hotel on-site. The staff and the food are both incredible.
”The Miss England contest continues to highlight the diverse talent, compassion, and ambition of young women across the nation, celebrating beauty with purpose and positive impact. It is also very popular worldwide in Asian countries and the likes of the USA where they can watch on television."
