Four people 'led to safety' by firefighter from house blaze in Bearwood - crews remain at the scene
Firefighters remain on the scene of a house fire in Bearwood this morning (Sunday).
Six fire engines attended the blaze in Dunsford Road, Bearwood with the first arriving five minutes after the first 999 call was received at 7.35am.
Firefighters said they led four people to safety after they had got out the house as the fire took hold.

A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman told the Express & Star: "Six crews attended the house fire in Dunsford Road, Bearwood this morning.
"We were first mobilised at 7.35am and the first appliance, from Smethwick Fire Station, was at the scene within five minutes."

He added: "We led four people to safety who had been in the property but had exited by the time we got there. No-one was injured."
West Midlands Fire Service posted on social media: ""This morning we attended a house fire in Smethwick, where six fire engines were called to scene.

"The first fire engine was in attendance in less than five minutes. Crews will remain on scene for the next few hours."
West Midlands Police said they were aware of the fire but it was being dealt with by West Midlands Fire Service and was not a police matter.
