Jess Walker, sales and manager for Katie O’Brien’s parent company, the Innvest Group, said: “Customers included many locals and tourists that had travelled from other cities, they were ‘wowed’ by the venue and our unforgettable live music.

“We had 20 acts performing across the weekend for the first time on Katie's stage. The team worked hard over the last few days in the build up to the weekend to make sure we were ready to go, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome or customer reaction.

“We are delighted to bring our authentic charm to Temple Street, we hope to see lots of the Irish community and all our other Katie’s fans now we have opened our doors.”

Katie’s is a traditional Irish pub, renowned for its live acts, from local talent to performers flying in from Ireland.

Jess added: “We have amazing sports coverage, capturing all the live action, so customers can enjoy an after-work pint of Saturday afternoon tipple while catching their teams. I really do feel like Katie’s offers something for everyone!”
