The team also spent time visiting Walsall Arboretum and also attended the woodland wildlife garden.

Officers also seized a vehicle they came across which was parked on a crossing in Caldmore. Checks revealed the driver didn’t hold a licence or valid insurance. The vehicle was seized and the driver reported for driving offences.

The Blakenall team on proactive patrols spotted a man wanted on recall to prison and arrested him after a foot chase. The team also carried out patrols in the Leckie Road area of Walsall and Darwin Road in Beechdale.

Willenhall officers took part in Operation Adhesion alongside the road harm team and drones officers in targeting people driving off-road bikes illegally, though no motorbikes were seized on this occasion.

They also attended St Stephen’s Church for a summer activity week. The children really enjoyed looking around the police car and trying on officer uniforms.

Neighbourhood officers also visited Willenhall E-Act for the Holiday Activity Food Programme. Youngsters enjoyed looking inside the police car and asked some very interesting questions.

Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team also joined up with Street Watch volunteers where they patrolled the Turnberry Estate and King Georges Park.
