Woman left with minor injures and buses diverted following crash in Walsall
National Express West Midlands have warned of bus diversions due to a crash in Walsall.
One woman has been left with minor injuries following a crash between a car and a van at the junction of Abbey Driver and Wolverhampton Road, Pelsall, near the finger post junction.
West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the scene of Abbey Drive and Wolverhampton Road, near the finger post juntion, Pelsall, to reports of a crash between a car and a van at around 12.17pm.
On arrival, emergency services teams discovered a patient, a woman, the driver of the car, who was assessed for minor injuries before being discharged at the scene.
There were no other patients at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a van at the junction of Abbey Drive and Wolverhampton Road in Pelsall, Walsall at 12.17pm and sent an ambulance to the scene.
"On arrival crews found a woman, the driver of the car, who they assessed for minor injuries before discharging her at the scene with self-care advice. There were no other patients."
Bus service operator, National Express West Midlands, warned of diversions to regular travel following the crash, with the service 9 facing diversions in both directions.
On X, National Express West Midlands said: "Collision on Wolverhampton Road, Pelsall, near to Finger Post. Service 9 is diverting in both directions via: Hall Lane, Mouse Hill & Foundry Lane.
"Apologies for any disruption to your journey."
