'Long delays' reported after crash on M6 at Walsall
'Start-stop' traffic is being reported on the M6 following an incident in Walsall.
Long delays are being reported on the M6 near Junction 10, close to Walsall town centre.
The incident was reported to have taken place at around 4.03pm, with AA Traffic News warning of 'start-stop' traffic on the M6, with congestion also affecting the A460 (Cannock) and the A545 Black Country Route (Wolverhampton/Walsall).
Delays of around 18 minutes were reported, with average speed at around 10mph.
The alert on the AA Traffic News website read: "Severe delays of 18 minutes and delays easing on M6 southbound between J11A M6 Toll and J10 A454 Black Country Route (Wolverhampton/Walsall). Average speed ten mph.
"Stop-start traffic on M6 Southbound from J11 A460 (Cannock) to J10 A454 Black Country Route (Wolverhampton/Walsall). Congestion to J11 (Cannock). The opposite side is also congested back to J7 (Great Barr) due to the earlier crash."
Emergency services have been approached for more information.
