Support worker admits defrauding Dudley victims to the tune of £40,000
A former support care worker has pleaded guilty to defrauding two victims of a combined sum of more than £40,000.
Toni Wilkinson, aged 45, from Oldbury appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court on February 11 charged with two offences of abusing her position as a support care worker to dishonestly make a gain for herself.
District Judge Michael Wheeler heard that between September 12, 2021 and March 15, 2023 the defendant gained £37,820 for herself from the first victim an individual whose financial interests she was expected to safeguard.
