Man, 21, charged with attempted murder after gun fired in Wolverhampton
A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was injured in a Wolverhampton residential street.
Ilir Hoxha, of no fixed abode, was arrested after a gun was fired in Westbourne Road on December 18.
The 21-year-old was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Thursday) to face charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an offence.
Hoxha has been remanded in custody until his next hearing on February 20 at Birmingham Crown Court.
A second man, aged 24, who was arrested from an address in Wolverhampton on Tuesday has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
