New specification will debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

Vauxhall will look to infuse some of its regular models with a sporting edge through a new GSE Line specification.

Set to debut to the public at the Paris Motor Show in October, GSE Line will take many of the styling touches found on Vauxhall’s GSE performance cars and bring them to more ‘everyday’ cars.

Kicking things off will be the Astra GSE, which now replaces previous GS specifications cars. Available on electric, plug-in hybrid, hybrid and petrol-powered setups, GSE Line brings a high level of standard equipment with visual changes such as grille designs specific to this model, as well as ‘GSE Line’ lettering on the front bumper.

All versions will get 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels as standard, too.

Inside, the Astra GSE Line gets the same bright yellow stitching as the full GSE models, applied in areas such as the seats, steering wheel and door inserts. The aluminium pedals of the GSE Line add an even sportier touch. Sports seats with integrated headrests are also going to be available as an option.

Alongside the standard hatch, a Sports Tourer estate will also be available within the Astra GSE Line specification. Vauxhall has already confirmed that further GSE Line models will soon follow in the range.

While full pricing hasn’t yet been revealed, it’s expected that GSE Line will command a similar price tag to the older GS trim, which would put it at around £27,995 for the standard petrol hatchback.
