Discovery line-up gains new Landmark trim

Latest trim is designed to show ‘the best that Discovery has to offer’.
The Land Rover Discovery has gained a new specification with the Landmark.
It sits alongside the existing Tempest and S trim levels to broaden the range of available specifications and arrives with a new Tasman Blue exterior colour alongside a host of other features.
The special grade also features the Landmark branding and a mountain logo on the front tread plates, centre console and B-pillar insert, as well as on the images cast out by the puddle lamp projectors on the sides of the car.

Exterior-wise, the seven-seater Landmark also features grey accents for areas such as the grille, side vents and Discovery branding while the 22-inch alloy wheels are also finished in a Dark Grey shade. However, nine other wheel designs are available to choose from, including a smaller 21-inch version.
All cars get a sliding panoramic sunroof and centre console fridge as standard, white brushed aluminium finishers are used throughout the cabin.
A series of optional packs can be added to the Discovery to help tailor it towards different needs and adventures, too. A special ‘For Dogs’ pack adds a foldable carrier and a portable rinse system to clean muddy paws after a walk.
The Biking Adventures accessory pack, meanwhile, adds rubber-sided mats that are easier to clean, as well as side steps that can make accessing the roof-mounted cycle carrier easier.

As with previous Discovery cars, the Landmark is available with a twin-turbocharged diesel and gets JLR’s Terrain Response system for better off-road capability. It’s also got a maximum wading depth of 900mm and a towing capacity of up to 3,500kg.
The new Discovery Landmark arrives priced from £75,860, slotting between the S and Tempest, which cost £69,540 and £83,940 respectively.
