West Park was the setting for Wolverhampton's annual fireworks night event, with the park filling early on with families and revellers who came to watch the two displays, as well as enjoy the other entertainment on offer.

This included a full funfair and food and drink stalls, plus a range of entertainment on the main stage, with renowned Wolverhampton presenter Dicky Dodd helping to keep the crowd entertained.

The first firework display was the Children's Low Noise Musical Display, which organisers said was "a gentler, music-choreographed display designed especially for younger guests and those with sensitive ears - still magical, just with fewer bangs".

The second display was the Spectacular Main Musical Display, for which organisers said: "Our main show is a high-energy, perfectly timed display where every firework bursts to the beat of some of the biggest hits. A true sensory spectacle."

Acts taking to the stage included tributes to Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift, plus the energetic Bhangra Smash Up, with the party going on into the night.

We've picked out 16 dazzling photos of the festivities and the people who came out to enjoy a night watching the fireworks, whether as friends or with families.
