Walsall wellbeing studio founder wins Women in Business Midlands Award
A Walsall wellbeing practitioner has been named a winner in the Women in Business Midlands Awards, receiving recognition in the wellbeing category.

The awards, championing female business leaders, were held at Park Hall Hotel, Wolverhampton, on October 16, with the wellbeing category recognising leading female-run wellness and mental health ventures across the region.
Manjit Sohal, who runs Yoga With Manjit, said the accolade reflects her work supporting people’s mental and emotional wellbeing through Kundalini Yoga and sound healing at her dedicated wellbeing studio in Walsall.
Manjit opened The Space in Walsall in December 2025 to offer classes and holistic practices intended to support health, relaxation and personal growth.

She said the idea behind the venture was to provide a welcoming environment where people could step away from the pressures of everyday life, make time for themselves and connect with both their own wellbeing and their local community.
Manjit said: “We believe that caring for our mental and emotional health is just as important as caring for our physical health.”
She thanked everyone who has supported her, voted for her, attended her classes and trusted her to be part of their wellbeing journey.
“I feel truly honoured and grateful to have received this recognition," she said.
"My passion has always been to help people find balance, peace, and connection in an increasingly fast-paced world.
“Through my Kundalini Yoga and sound healing sessions, I have witnessed the positive impact these practices can have on people's wellbeing, helping them manage stress, find moments of calm, and reconnect with themselves."
She added: “Receiving this award means so much to me because it recognises the work I love and the difference it can make to people's lives."
