A specialist in repairing and recycling mobile phones, tablets and smart watches, the business won the Online Retailer – Smartphone award, the Industry Business Excellence accolade and an award for Customer Service.

Operations director Lydia McGann said: “We're super happy.

“To win three awards in one evening was such an incredible surprise, and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team.

“There is so much work that happens behind the scenes to make sure every customer has an exceptional experience with us. From the devices we source and refurbish, through to our website, fulfilment, customer service and everything in between, every department contributes to what we’re building.

“And we genuinely get just as excited about every award we win. Each one is recognition that the team is continuing to push refurbished technology forward in the right direction and that the standards we’re working so hard to set are being noticed across the industry.

“We may not have taken home the Trade-In award this time, but being shortlisted for it still means a huge amount to us.

“We’ve worked hard to move away from the typical trade-in experience of attracting customers with a high initial valuation, only for that price to be heavily downgraded once the device arrives. Our aim is much simpler: offer consumers a fair price for their phone from the start and make the process as seamless as possible.

“Having that approach recognised alongside some brilliant businesses in the industry is something the team should be incredibly proud of.

“It was fantastic to be surrounded by so many brilliant businesses from across the circular tech industry.

“Coming home from Berlin with three awards makes us even more excited about what comes next.”

The triple award win comes after a jam-packed year of awards success.

The Big Phone Store was a double winner at the Express & Star Business Awards at The Halls Wolverhampton in June, taking home the Sustainability award as well as an accolade for Growth and Innovation.

The double win came shortly after the company’s lead technician Sunil Shrestha won the micro soldering competition at the Gadget Repair Expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The Big Phone Store, based at Wednesfield Business Park, Waddens Brook Lane, is now looking forward to the Mobile Industry Awards 2026 taking place in London on September 18, having been shortlisted for five accolades at the event - one of the most prestigious awards schemes in the UK mobile and telecoms industry.

The business, which employs more than 40 people, is in the running to be named Best Recycling Service and Refurbishing Service, Sustainability Initiative of the Year, Retailer of the Year (High Street and Online), Best Repair Service and Best Place to Work (Under 1,000 Employees).
