The visit aims to broaden horizons, challenge stereotypes and encourage more young people, especially girls, to consider careers in sectors where women have traditionally been underrepresented.

The session forms part of the school’s wider commitment to raising aspirations, promoting equality and equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

Syreeta Kapswara, Head of School at Lyndon School said: “We were delighted to welcome the Royal Navy into school. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to hear directly from professionals, learn about exciting career pathways and be inspired to pursue their ambitions in STEM and beyond.”
