Kris Barras Band set for emotional Wolverhampton farewell
Rock guitarist Kris Barras is preparing to step away from music as his band heads to Wolverhampton for its farewell tour
Kris Barras is preparing to take his final bow as the Kris Barras Band heads to Wolverhampton next month.

The guitarist recently announced he will step away from music following the band’s forthcoming tour, bringing an end to an 11-year career at the forefront of the UK’s modern rock scene.
The announcement gives the band’s return to KK’s Steel Mill on Thursday, October 15, added significance, with fans set to have the chance to celebrate Barras’ career and music.
The Devon-born musician, who previously competed as a professional mixed martial arts fighter, has built a reputation for powerful blues-infused hard rock and energetic live performances.
Over the years, the Kris Barras Band has developed from a blues-rock outfit into a heavier modern rock act, combining blues influences with big guitar riffs and arena-sized choruses.
Songs including Hail Mary, Dead Horses, My Parade, These Voices and Unbreakable have featured during the band’s rise through the British rock scene.
The Wolverhampton show is part of the Monsters We Made Tour and promises a career-spanning set covering material from across Barras’ time with the band.
The group has built a strong following through extensive touring and performances at venues and festivals across the UK.
Barras’ decision to step away from music means the Wolverhampton show will be one of the final opportunities for fans to see the band perform live.
The Kris Barras Band plays KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on Thursday, October 15. Doors open at 7pm.
