Brownhills Ormiston Academy opens its doors to hundreds for a magical community Christmas Fayre
Brownhills Ormiston Academy, part of Ormiston Academies Trust, welcomed hundreds of families and visitors through its doors as its Community Christmas Fayre transformed the school into a vibrant winter wonderland.
More than 30 local businesses and stallholders lined the halls with an impressive array of handmade crafts, unique gifts and festive treats. Live performances from students, soloists and the school choir brought Christmas cheer to the academy, while a wide range of food stalls serving hot chocolate, mince pies, pork baps, hot dogs, samosas and pizza gave visitors plenty to choose from.
Students were at the heart of the event, proudly running their own stalls and selling products they had designed and created themselves. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and entrepreneurial flair shone through as they confidently engaged with visitors and showcased their hard work.
Father Christmas also paid a special visit to Brownhills, delighting children as they shared their Christmas wishes. His grotto was a firm favourite, with children and families soaking up the festive magic and excitement. The fayre also featured a bouncy castle, games for younger visitors and a popular raffle supported by generous donations from local businesses and families.
The Christmas Fayre reflects Brownhills Ormiston Academy’s ongoing commitment to creating a warm and inclusive environment for all. By opening its doors to families, local residents and businesses, the academy continues to strengthen its role at the heart of the community—celebrating togetherness, creativity and student achievement.
