Stourbridge care home is finalist for prestigious national award
Barchester Healthcare’s stunning new care home, Iverley View, located in Stourbridge, is a finalist in the Design Healthcare Awards, Best Architectural Design category. The home has been chosen out of hundreds of other entries from across the entire country.
Iverley View, near Stourbridge, is a beautiful property designed by talented architects, Harris Irwin. The home opened in April 2025 and features fifty-five en-suite bedrooms with an impressive range of facilities and inside and outside spaces to enrich its residents’ lives. With a truly community focused design, the home offers a warm welcome and delivers immense scope for residents to socialise, maintain independence and for the hosting of activities and events. Set on the site of a former public house, the brief was to maintain a domestic scale and this intent has been carried through to ensure the residents are relaxed and comfortable in a building that has a home-from-home ambience.
