Your Pathway from Classroom to Career: New interactive careers brochure launched in South Staffordshire
A brand-new digital brochure giving young people a glimpse into careers in South Staffordshire has been launched.
The new e-booklet, titled Your Pathway from Classroom to Career, not only seeks to give inspire youngsters to kickstart their careers in the district, but also address skill gaps being experienced by local businesses.
Produced by South Staffordshire Council, the interactive document features real-life career stories from local employees, immersive 360° workplace tours, day-in-the-life video features, and practical career advice.
By combining engaging content with practical insights, it provides a unique tool to help students, educators, and employers explore the wide range of career opportunities available.
Cabinet member for Planning and Enterprise at South Staffordshire Council, Cllr Mark Evans, said: "This project shines a light on local career pathways and helps identify the skills gaps within our workforce, while supporting businesses to grow.

“Your Pathway from Classroom to Career is an exciting new resource that will make a real difference to young people and employers across South Staffordshire."
The brochure was officially showcased at the Inspiring Tomorrow’s Workforce launch on Wednesday, September 24, at Weston Park - an event held in partnership with the Stoke and Staffordshire Skills Hub and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
The event brought together employers, educators, and community partners to celebrate collaboration and innovation in skills development.
Feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the interactive features, real-life career insights, and the inspiration it provides for young people planning their future.
South Staffordshire Council is committed to ensuring that the brochure continues to support students, educators, and employers, helping to build a workforce that meets the needs of the local economy.
