Audiology team steps up charity fundraising effort
Colleagues from an audiologists in Stourbridge are lacing up their walking boots in preparation for a sponsored walk to raise money for charity.
Team members from Specsavers in the Ryemarket Shopping Centre will be getting their steps in throughout October by taking part in the Great British Dog Walk, an initiative organised by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. The team and their four-legged friends, Leo and Freddie, are aiming to cover a total of 100 miles while fundraising for the charity, which is dedicated to combating the isolation of hearing loss.

‘Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a brilliant organisation that does amazing work to support deaf people in our community, so we’re delighted to be taking part in the Great British Dog Walk,’ says Louise Fellows, store director at Specsavers Stourbridge. ‘The team have dusted off their walking boots and they’re ready to go - we’re just hoping the weather holds out!
‘We recognise that times continue to be tough, but even the smallest donation can go a long way in supporting the cause. We appreciate all contributions, and we’re looking forward to getting out and about to raise as much money as possible.’
