Students at Kingswinford Academy celebrate a strong set of GCSE results
Students at Kingswinford Academy are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results.
After much dedication, commitment and hard work studying, students at the school, which is part of Windsor Academy Trust, are collecting a set of strong GCSE results and getting ready to take their next steps in their educational journey.

The school achieved well, with 66% of students achieving the crucial pass in both English and Maths.
Subjects that saw particular success included Art, where 100% students passed; English, where a quarter of grades were at grade 7 or higher; and Biology, where a third of all grades were 7 or higher. In technical and vocational courses students did especially well in
Enterprise, iMedia and Sport, where over 80% of grades were Level 2 Pass or better.
Kingswinford Academy students are now looking forward to progressing onto their chosen further education institutions.
While all students have done incredibly well, there are some standout individual achievements. These include:
Abeeha Muhammad Shahid (seven grade 9s, one grade 8, 1 x Distinction*)
Khadija Ahmed (three grade 9s, four grade 8s, two grade 7s)
Scarlett Hay (two grade 9s, five grade 8s, two grade 7s)
Rio Ameson-Jeffries (two grade 9s, four grade 8s, three grade 7s, one grade 6)
Collecting GCSE results today, Abeeha said: “I’m so pleased with my results and so grateful to all the amazing teachers and staff at Kingswinford for making this possible. A special thanks to my parents for their support.”
