In this Weekend: Paul Young, scientists working to cure cancer and Trainspotting 2

Elsewhere, we meet the scientists working to cure cancer, and the guardians of a local beauty spot.

There's all the usual food, funnies and fashion, and our man Harry says good morning, Vietnam on our travel pages.

TV-wise, we reveal who Piers Morgan will chat to next in his Life Stories, and we're going potty for the new series of the Great Pottery Throw Down.

And how can we forget? Trainspotting 2 is out this weekend so we look back at the original film and its decade-defining soundtrack.

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose Weekend.
