Remember Dion Dublin? A prolific striker for the likes of Aston Villa and Coventry City? Well, with a little help from some friends, he's produced a World Cup for England.

Some professionals tend to take up coaching roles when they retire, others eye a move into the media. Not Dion. He set his sights on the music industry.

He even invented his own percussion instrument in 2011 named 'The Dube.'

The 45-year-old former England striker recorded 'Winner in You' – a cover of the New Radicals' 1990s hit 'You Only Get What You Give'.

Dion plays saxophone on the single which has been recorded by the band he manages – Nottingham indie outfit The Establishment.

The five-piece band rewrote the words of the song, while Dion acted as executive producer on the track.

So, we got thinking. What is the best World Cup song? Is it Dion's? Or do you prefer the 2002 'hit' We're on the ball by Geordie duo Ant and Dec?

We've got some for you to choose from and vote for your favourite song.

There is only one place to start...

1 - World in Motion

The 1990 World Cup in Italy produced one of England's finest displays at an international tournament since 1966 and also produced a classic song featuring a rap from John Barnes.

2 - Three Lions (Football's Coming Home)

Not the World Cup, but football 'came home' for the European Championships in 1996. Comedian duo David Baddiel and Frank Skinner teamed up with the Lightening Seeds to produce this football anthem.

3 - We're on the ball

2002 and England headed to South Korea and Japan to the chorus of 'We're on the ball'. Although a World Cup song, the Geordie pair couldn't resist one or two mentions of the 5-1 victory over rivals Germany in 2001.

4 - World at Your Feet

Embrace gave us 'World at your feet' for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. A different route from the previous song in 2002.

5 - Shout

In 2010, we resorted back to a proven method - include a comedian. Rapper Dizee Rascal teamed up with Gavin and Stacey star James Corden for 'Shout'.
