Loopy Leprechaun's marathon effort

If there's one job sure to keep you fit, it's delivering post.

But for 55-year -old postman of 12 years Tony Meehan's, his 10-mile daily round is merely a warm-up. Tony is training for the London Marathon this Sunday which will be his 14th. But unlike his other marathons this one will be an altogether green affair as he is running as a leprechaun.

His daily post round helps towards his fitness training and can often been seen pounding the streets of Wednesbury. Tony always runs for charity, and has raised more than £33,000 to date.

Tony believes dressing up makes for a more interesting run and hopes to complete the marathon within four to five hours.
