Sheffield Wednesday are keen to extend Gary Gardner's current loan deal. The Aston Villa midfielder moved to Hillsborough on a month's loan deal and is due to expire this weekend.
According to reports in Sweden, Aston Villa are poised to sign 15-year-old Moustafa Zeidan Khalili. The youngster has played in several first-team matches with Högaborgs BK in Sweden's Division 2, with his agent comparing his to Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil. Khalili would join Villa at the end of season.
Albion
George Thorne netted for Derby County under-21s as they played Barnsley last night. Thorne joined Steve McClaren's side on loan in January.
