ALBION
West Brom will battle Liverpool in the race to sign Burnley star Danny Ings, who has 21 goals in the Championship already this season.
Meanwhile, Leeds striker Ross McCormack is also said to be on Albion's radar as they look for a replacement for Shane Long.
West Brom boss Pepe Mel could be set to make a loan move for Benfica midfielder Andre Almeida, with a view to signing the 23-year-old on a permanent deal in the summer.
Albion have also been linked with a loan deal for Espanyol's 21-year-old striker Thievy Bifouma before the transfer window shuts tomorrow.
And QPR striker Bobby Zamora is reportedly also on Albion's radar after being told he can leave Loftus Road. Crystal Palace are also said to be interested in the 33-year-old.
Lazio have made an enquiry on the availability of Albion striker Nicolas Anelka, who could be set for a ban after being charged by the FA over his 'quenelle' gesture.
Derby are said to remain interested in Albion midfielder George Thorne, who joined Watford on loan earlier this season.
WOLVES
Leon Clarke was today set to rejoin Wolves after a £750,000 fee was agreed for the Coventry striker.
However there was no further progress on the sale of Leigh Griffiths today, with Wolves having rejected Celtic's latest offer of £500,000 as doubts emerged over whether the deal would be done before the end of the transfer window.
Burton Albion boss Gary Rowett is hopeful of keeping Wolves winger Zeli Ismail on loan until the end of the season.
ASTON VILLA
Paul Lambert has insisted that he is still chasing new signings before the transfer deadline as boss Paul Lambert ruled out a move for Spurs midfielder Lewis Holtby.
