The Accies have confirmed they have accepted an offer for the highly-rated teenager from the newly-promoted Barclays Premier League side.

The Molineux club had been adamant that there has been no bid for any "Scottish-based players", with chief executive Jez Moxey this week claiming "nothing has changed".

The 18-year-old has been the source of constant speculation about his future, having been linked with Celtic, Burnley and Portsmouth.

Wolves will now speak to the player, with some reports claiming as much as £2million could change hands for the Republic of Ireland under-21 international.
