‘Be safe’ - Cesar Peixoto’s message to Wolves fans ahead of huge Black Country derby
The Wolves boss wants supporters to bring the noise at Molineux.
Cesar Peixoto has urged Wolves supporters to stay safe and get behind his side as Molineux prepares to host the Black Country derby.
The last meeting between the rivals at Molineux, in January 2024, was marred by incidents off the pitch.
Ahead of Sunday’s showdown, Wolves and Albion supporters have been warned they could face lifetime bans for any crowd trouble.
And with a packed Molineux expected to produce an electric atmosphere, Wolves boss Peixoto hopes the home crowd can play their part in driving his side towards victory.
Asked for his message to supporters, Peixoto said: “To come, do what they have done at Molineux, in our fortress, like we did in the last game.
“Be safe, have passion, support the players to the end. The players are going to fight for them, every ball, every minute, until the end.
“With a good environment, without problems, I hope that we can fight and win the game for them. Be safe - that is the most important thing for me.”
