Academy graduate Gibbs-White impressed off the bench during Wolves' 2-2 draw with Norwich on Wednesday.

It was the 17-year-old's sixth appearance since the turn of the year and Nuno believes the homegrown youngster is improving.

"He's growing, he's getting better," Nuno said. "He has the talent – he requires the work and we will get that.

"He grew very big on the pitch and showed character to create chances, very good."

The head coach also defended keeper Ruddy after his failure to save Norwich's late equaliser.

Nuno pointed to Ruddy's contribution over the course of the season including his stellar display in a 2-0 win at Reading when he made a string of saves.

"John gives us so much this season, so many things, so many points," he said. "You remember Reading?

"It's 'we' as a team, nothing to do with individuals."
