Matt Doherty to make Wolves comeback in Nike Academy friendly

Matt Doherty made his comeback for Wolves today in a behind-closed-doors friendly against a Nike Academy at St George's Park.

The right-back took his place alongside some experienced names after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Doherty has missed the last nine games and played just one of the last 16 after initially sustaining the injury in the 2-0 win against Oldham on October 22.

Former Barcelona 'B' midfielder Albert Torras was also included after receiving his international clearance.

Kevin Foley, George Elokobi, David Davis, Jamie O'Hara and Bjorn Sigurdarson all travelled to Burton-on-Trent for this afternoon's friendly.
