West Brom player ratings: A couple excel with 7 but some struggle with 5

We rate the performances from the draw against Charlton.

MAX O'LEARY

Had next to nothing to do other than pick the ball out the back of his net from fine Campbell finish. Had no chance.

Helpless 6

NOLAN GALVES

Had one of his better games defensively in the first half but was beaten by sub Mesik to cross for equaliser. Attacked OK - but must shore up at back.

Beaten 5

GEORGE CAMPBELL

Skipper caught the eye with a couple of trademark charges forward from defence. Not stretched otherwise but unable to clear from big Leaburn for goal.

Charged 6

NAT PHILLIPS

Defended well. Seemed to get his head to all of Charlton's testing long balls or throw-ins into the box. Albion would miss his presence otherwise.

Solid 6

CALLUM STYLES

Good evening for the left-back with a first goal in 16 months - and what a hit. Otherwise got into good positions and used the ball well.

Impressed 7

KAREEM TUNDE

Can be pleased with his first start, which lasted 45 minutes. Bright and demanded the ball. Some dribbles didn't come off but full of invention with fine passes.

Promise 6

JAYSON MOLUMBY

One of few Albion players who tried to make things happen with movement and presence of mind in the final third. At times it didn't come off, but intent was there.

Intent 7

OUSMANE DIAKITE

Had a decent game in the middle of the park with some good challenges. Used the ball a little slower than when at his best and Albion lacked that dynamism.

Lacked 6

ISAAC PRICE

A quieter evening for the star left-sider. Had one first-half chance saved and another deflect wide after break. One or two bits of quick-thinking, otherwise shackled.

Shackled 6

FELIX HORN MYHRE

Bright enough start to the game but faded drastically again. Morrison happy with his work rate - certainly industrious - but more output in final third needed in advanced role.

Industrious 5

JIMMY-JAY MORGAN

Missing Heggebo next to him up top. Likes a scrap but not a presence to occupy defenders and does like drifting to the left, which leaves hole up top.

Isolated 5

Substitutes:

Rabby Nzingoula (for Tunde, 45) What a talent he looks. Lit up second half. 7

Aune Heggebo (for Morgan, 77) 6

Barney Stewart (for Horn Myhre, 89) n/a

Subs not used: Ingram (gk), Mepham, Townsend, Collyer, Bany, Whitwell.
