Sporting Club Albion Ladies clinched the Midland Combination Main Division title last night thanks to a first-half double from Ashleigh Neville, including a 20-yard rocket.
And Dave Smith's Baggies can now look forward to a first season in the FA Northern Premier League.
Yesterday's match saw Albion seal promotion at the second attempt after a weekend loss to Rotherham denied them the chance to win the title before last night.
But victory over Wolves propelled them above the South Yorkshire side, who had already completed their fixtures and they will now face the tension of the promotion play-offs.
Jamie Bunch, sporting director of Sporting Club Albion, said: "After a nervy start, which was understandable with so much at stake, we found our feet in the match and went on to win convincingly.
"It's a huge relief to have avoided the play-offs and it's been a terrific effort by Dave, his assistant Dave Lawrence and all the players this season.
"They fully deserve their success and we can now look forward to seeing the team compete at the highest level in our history.
"It's a reward for all the hard work put in during the season."
