West Brom v Charlton predicted line-up: Will Eric Ramsay be persuaded into changes for critical clash?

Chances are slipping away for boss Eric Ramsay to record a first victory as Albion boss.

The head coach tackles Charlton Athletic at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night in a bid to stave off calls for his head with a first win in the hotseat.

It is his ninth fixture at the helm, with five defeats and three draws in all competitions so far. Fears of relegation to League One have heightened in the 34-year-old's six weeks in the dugout.

Ramsay called for "short memories" in the wake of Saturday's 2-0 home defeat against leaders Coventry as the Addicks, fresh from promotion from the third tier last term, come to town. Charlton have been battling the lower region of the Championship but are currently 17th, six points above the Baggies, after improved form of just one defeat in five.

It will be interesting to see whether the under-fire boss opts to change too much, in terms of personnel or even formation, in hunt of a win.

I expect George Campbell, who made his first-half return as a substitute for the flailing Alfie Gilchrist against the Sky Blues, will start from the off at right-back. He has not done so since the 1-1 draw at Derby.

Nat Phillips will surely be ready to return at central defence instead of Charlie Taylor almost two weeks after his concussion at Birmingham. He was a substitute on Saturday having only returned to training late last week.
