Walsall fan quitting Twitter following 'abuse' after real story on Pompey trip revealed
A Walsall fan who pulled off a prank by claiming he booked a room on the Isle of Wight during an away trip to Portsmouth says he is quitting Twitter over 'abuse'.
Davey Drew shared his nightmare experience on social media as he followed the Saddlers when they travelled to the south coast last month.

It was shared on Twitter thousands of times and read by 2.5m users.
The story was also picked up by media around the world.
His ordeal touched the hearts of many travelling football fans as well as Walsall FC, which offered to pay his ferry fare from island.
His tweet received more than 9,000 retweets and almost 20,000 likes.
But Davey revealed to the Express & Star last week that his tweet was just 'for a bit of fun'.
After it was outed as a hoax Davey took to Twitter to say: "Don't think I deserve the abuse I'm getting for a harmless joke that put us on the world map.
"Sorry folks, I'm quitting Twitter, don't deserve this abuse for an innocent joke that put us on the global map, goodnight each."
One fan, Rob Harvey, responded: "Quit being an attention seeker. Tweet made, rumbled lots of people, you enjoyed the moment. You wanted attention, you've got it. Cheer up!"
