Walsall boss Lee Grant nominated for League Two manager of the month
The Walsall head coach went unbeaten in League Two last month.
Walsall boss Lee Grant has been nominated for the League Two manager of the month award for August.
Grant guided the Saddlers to victories over Gillingham and Accrington Stanley - plus a goalless draw against Grimsby Town in League Two last month.
The 43-year-old has been nominated alongside Dean Brennan of Barnet, Colchester United manager Danny Cowley and York City boss Scott Lindsey.
All winners will be announced on Friday (September 11) and will be determined by a judging panel of ex-Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, pundit and former Saddlers hero Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
Grant has continued his unbeaten league start in September with back-to-back draws at Crewe Alexandra and Exeter City respectively.
