Mat Sadler says he has "never thought" about whether his future hinges on Walsall achieving promotion in League Two this season.
Pressure from the fan base continues to intensify on the Walsall boss, following a run of just two wins from 13 games in League Two, which has seen them plummet from the league summit to 11th.
Walsall are still only three points adrift of the play-offs, but are the only team in the division yet to taste victory on home soil in 2026.
Their 2-1 setback against Notts County at Bescot on Saturday condemned the Saddlers to four successive home defeats for the first time since early 2021.
