"We can grow in belief" - Alex Pattison on Walsall's recent lack of goals
Alex Pattison feels performances are improving but admits Walsall need to show "more belief" in front of goal.
Walsall have failed to score in four of their last five home games and have found the net just twice at Bescot in 2026.
They extended their losing streak to three games on home soil with a 1-0 defeat against Fleetwood Town on Tuesday which left them three points adrift of the play-off places. .
'We've improved in the last two games'
"The performance on Tuesday was good but you don't win games if you don't score," Pattison said.
"It's just those final details that we've improved in the last two games but we need to pick up points.
"That's what football is about, getting those three points on the table.

"We can grow belief from how we play on Tuesday even though we didn't win.
"It's just that final bit: getting in the box and scoring goals that we need to improve."
