"Knocking on the door" - Walsall midfielder Jamie Jellis backed to end goal drought
Mat Sadler believes Walsall midfielder Jamie Jellis is "knocking at the door" in his quest to end his 13-month goal drought.
The 25-year-old last found the net during the Saddlers' 2-0 win at Morecambe in February last year and has endured a stop-start campaign during his second full season in the Football League.
Jellis has worked his way back into the team in recent weeks and has started successive games against Shrewsbury Town and Fleetwood Town respectively.
He came agonisingly close to ending his dry spell when his close-range finish was smothered on the goal-line in a 1-0 defeat against the latter on Tuesday.
'One of our main men' - Sadler on Jellis

"I thought he was class tonight, brilliant on Saturday [against Shrewsbury] and he's one of our main men," boss Sadler said.
